Who we are
Hi, we’re Sharpa. Created by a former Product & Tech interim manager, consultant and development agency owner who came to a striking realization: almost all CPOs and product leaders have way too many tasks on their plate.
The problem
These tasks aren't strategic, but rather operational. Which makes it increasingly difficult for them to focus on the strategic actions that move the needle—and their businesses suffer as a consequence. Not to mention, they are pulled away from doing work they love.
Lackluster solutions
While some product leaders had executive assistants, they mostly helped with calendar scheduling, arranging travel, etc., but lacked product management knowledge, which limited their usefulness. To address this, product leaders delegated operational tasks to their team, which only cascaded the problem down (and decreased morale.)
Sharpa is born
One day, when talking to a product leader who was really frustrated with not being able to focus more strategically, it dawned on us: they needed an assistant. Not an executive assistant, but a Product Ops Assistant who could take a lot of the operational and admin work off their plate.
That planted the seed for what is now Sharpa. Today, we support product leaders and managers who want to free up their bandwidth to focus on high-impact work. While we’re proudly based in Utrecht, The Netherlands, our Product Ops Assistants come from all over Europe.
