Getting started
Depends on the package chosen and your specific needs, but typically you can expect Product Ops Assistants to save you 8-16 hours per week on average.
We move quickly and recognize some clients need short-term help due to an unexpected leave or circumstance. You can get started with a Product Ops Assistant in as little as 1-2 weeks depending on availability. Click here to fill out our Get Started form or Schedule a Call.
No worries. We’re here to ensure you get all your questions answered based on your unique needs. Feel free to book a call to discuss your specific needs, goals and outcomes to see if our Product Ops Assistants make sense for you.
Roles and responsibilities
In most organizations, a Product Ops Assistant or Associate is an entry-level position focused on administrative tasks. Instead, our assistants support a wide range of Product Ops activities beyond just administrative duties. However, unlike Product Ops Leads or Managers, they typically do not take full ownership of entire projects or initiatives.
Sure, but they won’t be able to handle anywhere near the volume of essential tasks that come with supporting product leaders. Which means you only clear administrative work off your plate, instead of higher-level tasks that someone needs to get done (most likely you.)
It’s up to you to determine when and with whom your assistant will (or will not) have direct contact. Since we source top-tier talent, expect the assistant to demonstrate stellar communication skills that quickly builds trust with others. Having your assistant being able to reach out to colleagues, stakeholders, and clients will add significantly to the value they bring to the entire organization.
We operate under strict standards of client and Product Ops Assistant privacy, including signing requisite non-disclosure agreements as part of our contracts.
Availability
Once you kickoff your collaboration with your Product Ops Assistant, you’ll establish a routine that best fits your needs. Together, you’ll determine the most effective way to allocate the time included in your monthly plan. If you have a Dedicated subscription, your Product Ops Assistant will be available to assist you during all business hours.
Our assistants are exclusively located in Europe (for now). They can accommodate to your specific working hours to ensure streamlined communication and workflows.
Our assistants typically communicate in English. However, we understand that some Product Leaders may prefer assistance in other languages. If you’re interested in exploring options for multilingual support, please feel free to schedule a call with us to discuss your specific needs.
We only work remotely.
Cost and subscription
We source our talent from skilled assistants all over Europe where wages are more economical and there is an existing (and vibrant) product and technology community. Which means you’re getting top-tier support at a fraction of the cost of bringing on another team member.
No, they don’t. All hours must be used within the month.
Definitely! Our Product Ops Assistants are personalized to your unique needs and we recognize those can change. If you need more hours and want to scale up, timing varies based on availability. If you’re looking for less hours or looking to cancel your agreement, please provide 30 days notice.
Our pricing is based on a retainer-model broken down into three simple plans: The Starter plan is based on an average availability of 50 hours per month, the Premium plan is based on 100 hours per month, and the Dedicated plan is based on 150 hours per month. These timeframes take into account holidays, sick leave, vacation time, training, et cetera. Every month, we’ll be monitoring and reporting on the real number of hours that were available to your organization. After every six months or when the contract is terminated, when the actual availability was lower than the contracted availability, the time not available is deducted pro rata from the (next) invoice, or paid back to you.
Training, hiring, and quality
We have strict standards for product knowledge, technical know-how and a combination of hard and soft skills. Plus, for every hire we make, we review thousands of resumes and have hundreds of interviews to select only the top candidates. We also have all assistants screened by a third-party to act as a second layer of validation.
Product Ops Assistants go through an extensive internal training program. Additionally, they go through several of the certified Product-Led Alliance trainings. They also receive ongoing training and visit conferences to stay up to date with the latest trends and insights. Rest assured, you’re getting A+ talent.
Yes! We offer you the option to “take over” and permanently hire your Product Ops Assistant after a minimum of 15 months of our Dedicated Subscription for a one-time fee that is equal to two months of your subscription. This allows you to maximize your investment of time and energy and bring them on full-time or promote them to a more senior role.
We pride ourselves on a rigorous matching process to align specialized skills and personality based on our careful onboarding. However, if for some reason you are not thrilled with the match, we will replace your assistant and restart your clock.
